There will be no classes in November. I am about to leave for the United Kingdom where I plan to sit a month long retreat with my mentor at Gaia House, a Buddhist retreat center in Devonshire in England. Gaia House is an old house, set amid fields of sheep, where one can intersperse periods of formal meditation with walks through the lanes, watch the changing sky, munch on apple “drops” and delve deeply into the Buddha’s teachings.
I will be returning December 3rd and have planned a meeting on December 6th at 6.00 p.m. at St. Martin-in- the-Fields. This will give us a chance to talk and find out what is needed as we move into the New Year. I hope you will join me!
Meanwhile, if you are looking for places to sit in community, I recommend Springboard Meditation studio or the morning meditation at the Mary Chapel at St Martin-in-the-Fields. The meditation is held weekdays at 8:15 a.m.
I hope you know that I will be taking many of you with me in my heart! I wish you all peace and tranquility in the next 6 weeks.
